Our story began in 1921 when Frank Carella came to America and founded Capitol Shoe Repair. Frank's son, James, began selling baby shoes in 1946, joined shortly after by James' brother Francis.
Today, Carella's Shoes is run by Francis' three sons, Fred, Carl, and Tom. They manage all aspects of the operation. All three now have children of their own. They understand the needs of parents struggling to find appropriate and properly fitted shoes for their children.
